Emergency response to casualty trapped in lift


On 15th February at 2.06pm, East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service received an emergency call from an ambulance crew who were trapped in a lift with a patient who had suffered a heart attack.

Two fire engines were immediately dispatched from Preston Circus to the property in Sillwood Street, Brighton. The crews were mobilised at 2.06pm and arrived at the property at 2.10pm. All persons had been released from the lift within 5 minutes of arrival.
