Firefighters attend serious A27 collision

Firefighters cut two people free from wreckage following a serious road traffic collision along the A27.

Three Eastbourne and Hailsham crews were called to the incident yesterday morning (6th February) at 11.27am to attend a three-vehicle collision, which shut the A27 in both directions at Wilmington.

Diversions were put in place as the emergency services rescue operation got underway and the area was made safe by firefighters.

Crews left the scene at 12.46pm.
