Road traffic collision in Peacehaven


On 22nd May at 09.41am, East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service received a call from South East Coast Ambulance Service regarding a road traffic collision at South Coast Road, Peacehaven.

A fire engine from Newhaven and one from Roedean were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, one person was confirmed as trapped in a private vehicle.

Crews used hydraulic equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle and extricated the casualty, who was subsequently transferred to hospital.
