Lewes fire station Christmas open evening – Wednesday 5th December

Lewes firefighters will be throwing open the doors and inviting their local community to join them for some festive fun during this year’s Christmas open evening on Wednesday 5thDecember, 4pm – 7pm.

The fire station's annual tradition of turning on the tower of lights is hoped to get locals into the festive spirit and fire crews will be using it as a good opportunity to offer advice for a safe, festive season, both in the home and on the roads.

Bring along your family to see the fire engines, meet the firefighters and have a look around Lewes community fire station. Father Christmas will be coming along and he’ll be bringing a free gift for every child! Tea, refreshments and mince pies will be available and staff are looking forward to greeting you with a warm and friendly welcome.

Free home safety visits will also be given to those concerned about fire safety within their homes and for those interested in joining the Fire Service, career information will be on-hand.
