Primary school children design fire safety posters

A talented group of primary school children won the chance to visit their local fire station after recently winning a fire safety poster competition.

Twelve pupils from Manor Primary School, Rocks Park Primary School and St Philip's School in Uckfield designed the winning posters, which were part of a competition organised as part of the national Fire Kills campaign.

They were invited along to Uckfield fire station on Saturday 16th March to help out with a charity car wash and got stuck in, helping to clean the cars!

Their winning posters will soon be displayed on the front of Uckfield fire station.
