Lewes Community Fire Station Exercise

Crews from Lewes have been able to arrange multiple training exercises in which they have been able to smoke log a property using synthetic smoke and create various realistic scenarios.

Harvard House, stands in the heart of Ringmer, the large three-story building was once a former care home but now currently stands empty and is awaiting demolition to be rebuilt.

The crews have been able to liaise with the local authorities and obtained licenses and permission to use the building for the short period of time before the building is knocked down.

Crews have said that this is a valuable opportunity and that they would like to be able to find more of these types of properties in the area to use in the same manor.
