Brighton firefighters attend explosion



Two crews from Brighton were called to an explosion, which resulted in a fire.

Firefighters arrived at Braypool Lane, Patcham, Brighton, yesterday (17th November) at 6.01pm and remained at the incident until 7.13pm.

One man was injured at the scene and treated by the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.

A full fire investigation was carried out and the cause was said to be accidental, involving a heating appliance.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to tackle the fire.
