Father Christmas makes a special visit to Lewes Fire Station

Children are invited to meet Father Christmas at Lewes Community Fire Station’s forthcoming festive evening on 13th December.

This has become an annual tradition for the station, coupled with the turning on of the tower of lights, which is hoped to get residents into the festive spirit.

Fire crews will also be on hand to offer free advice to keep people safe throughout the festive season, both in the home and on the roads.

It’s also a chance for residents to visit the station with family or friends, climb aboard the fire engines, chat with crews and have a look around the station.

Revellers will be able to keep warm with teas and coffees, as well as enjoying a mince pie and an array of exciting, practical demonstrations.

The event will run from 3pm to 5.30pm at Lewes Community Fire Station, North Street, Lewes.
