Aerial ladder platform used in Brighton flat fire

Firefighters from Preston Circus and Roedean tackled a flat fire at Bloomsbury Place in Kemp Town, Brighton on 29 January 2014.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the four storey property at 08.25.

The fire was in a flat on the third floor of the building.

Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reel as well as the aerial ladder platform to put the fire out.

An investigation was carried out and the cause was found to be accidental.
