Firefighters cut casualties free from wreckage following collision in Uckfield

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free two casualties from the wreckage following a two-vehicle collision.

One person was already in the care of paramedics when crews from Crowborough and Uckfield arrived on the scene at the Blackdown Roudabout, along the A22 Monday morning (6th October) at 11.58am.

Crews then set about rescuing two further casualties in a second vehicle and following the rescue then made the area safe.

All three casualties were left in the care of ambulance crews.
